I think its about time for some updates and new pics! It seems like everyday is full of new things to talk about! Melyssa is done with 2nd grade and loving life mostly girl scouts, she is a very proud girl scout and Austin is done with 1st grade, hes not a girl scout! haha but he is a happy kid too. He is excited to play sports all summer and see fireworks on the fourth of July. Remember when little things used to be soo exciting? What happened? Oh, thats right we became adults and now have responsibilities! Being a grown up is over rated. They are so very smart it almost worries me! We are really blessed! Joe and I are still working and hating it but ya gotta do what ya gotta do ya know?. I'm feeling much better this week i have had time to rest and no work makes it even better. My vacation is over on Monday and I'm sad, there was only 2 nice days the whole week! I'm now complaining though, I'm just saying where is the sunshine?? We had a lot of fun with the kids even with the crappy weather. We managed to pack the week with a ton of fun things to do! First we went to blast off which was a whole different level of entertainment! We took Joe's sister Wendy with us, she even got in the ball pit! (for those of you who don't know Wendy she has down syndrome and is 40) She is definitely my favorite lady!! She had lots of fun and the kids did too! Next we went to the Circus. I was kinda disappointed but the kids had a blast! The got to ride an elephant and see all sorts of random circus acts. Austin said his favorite was the guys juggling with fire and the lion. Missy really liked the tigers and the dance-rope swing acts. (i don't know what they are called!) Haha. Then to top it all off, we went camping on Wednesday the weather wasn't the greatest but it was enough to have a goo time. The kids really are great camping buddies! We went on a hike and saw a deer played all day and made up fun stories around the campfire. If it where up to me we would go camping at least once a week! I love the outdoors. :) All in all it was a fantastic week and its only gonna get better! Next week is Joe's birthday and Sunday is fathers day, I look forward to making fun cards and gifts. :) The kids are good little artists.. Well i was going to post a ton of cute pics but my computer is being stupid so thats it for now I will figure it out then the pictures will be posted!!

Hello world! I've missed you.. (: So life around the Spaulding house has been pretty crazy this last few weeks. I had my gallbladder taken out and I am very sore but also very glad Its all done and over with, man it hurt! I still feel a little out of the loop with things at work and in the real world I haven't done anything more than sleep and rest for the last week! I'm ready to be done and get back to normal. I still have stupid weight restrictions and bending and reaching limits but I am back to work and glad to be... uh.. well kinda glad! Ha now we are starting to think about vacation! Yay woo hoo I get an entire week off and i don't have to have surgery to get it.. hehe :) We are so excited, we can't really afford to go anywhere but hangin out with the kids is my most favorite thing to do even if its just at home. We always come up with fun stuff to do, this weekend the kids are having an indoor camp out. We will have microwave s'mores and tell scary stories by flashlight and sleep in tents and sleeping bags (: i think i might be more excited than the kids are. It will be great.

Last time the kids where here we went to feed the ducks. The kids had fun tryn to touch them or just get close enough to hand feed them but I think Charlie(the dog) had the most fun! He thinks the ducks are all just play toys! It was grade A entertainment to see. Missy has a new favorite thing, can you guess what it is? Yep, its that lace umbrella I swear from the minute I gave it to her she has been carting it around like its the koolest thing in the world!!

Okay world, I have officially been a slacker!! I haven't had any time to post anything for like a year! I finally made time. So things are going great in the Spaulding house, we are very slowly putting things together. This week we made the downstairs bathroom more kid friendly. We added a ton of fish! it is soo cute. there are fish everywhere. The kids haven't seen it yet but i think they will be very excited. I'm not a huge fan of fish but with two kids sharing a bathroom its hard to find something that isn't too girly or too boyish! I am very pleased with how it turned out. We just have to add a few small things and it will be off to the next bathroom to make it less kid friendly and more mom and dad friendly! Joe has some really good ideas for what we want but we are still undecided. We will see how it goes1 One project at a time! I think I am going to focus on Melyssa's room next. It needs the most work, I'ts a nice room it just needs to scream girl because Missy will have nothing less! She is so cute, she already knows how she wants it decorated, I think she changed her mind about 20 times but we have a winner!! Polka dots!! I'm excited and worried, the dots will be great but we already have crazy colored stripes and some bright curtains with daisies its going to look outrageously girly when we are finished! I hope she likes it. Austins room on the other hand is still just blue and plane. He doesn't know if he wants camo, or blue pirates, or ocean sharks. He will have to make up his mind soon so we can get started on his room but for now we have plenty to keep us busy! This thing with having my own house and doing whatever I want with it is great!! I am loving life. Okay enough about the house, the kids are getting big! Every time I see them its like they change so much so fast I have to re learn what they like! It keeps me o my toes though. I am looking forward to summer so we will have more time with them!! They are coming early this week and I am already making plans for what to do over the weekend. I know we will make mother's day cards and i think Joe planned a swimming trip on Saturday so we have enough to keep us busy if we put house work in there sometime! Wow there is so much to do and see and talk about but not enough time in the day! All in all we are all doing well and are taking things a day at a time! I love my life!!
